Nanay

"Nanay a mi rabia, Nanay a mi pena" is an immersive and intimate video that evokes the journey of Geraldine Zuasnabar as a Quechua artivist, seeking to reconnect with her spirituality and regenerate her soul after eleven years of commitment to transfeminist and antiracist activism.

In a context where genocides are normalized, and injustices form part of everyday life, this creation is born from several questions:

How does justice feel in our bodies and territories? What is justice for our hearts, for our nervous systems? How is it lived in our collective tissues, in the web of life? How do we co-create our own forms of justice outside the colonial and patriarchal system?

Nanay is a word that encompasses much: pain, roots, and the caressing of the heart. This creation invites us to navigate a sensory journey toward hope and the practice of imagination through ancestral poetics and memories.
