LLAQTANCHIKPA KALLPAN
𝗟𝗹𝗮𝗾𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗸𝗽𝗮 𝗸𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗽𝗮𝗻 is a series of documentary videos about territorial struggles and resistances, featuring the voices of Quechua and Ashaninka women. These stories open horizons to ancestral futures of good living for all, regardless of gender. They draw from Andean and Amazonian art and spirituality.
Through these shorts, we aim to spark a dialogue about anticolonial and antipatriarchal struggles while continuing to weave networks with our Ashaninka and Quechua siblings. The urgent need to return to our roots has recently resounded like thunder, prompting us to ask:
How does the anticolonial struggle come together?
Amidst so much grief, injustice, and a dictatorship that intimidates and kills, we find ourselves with more questions than answers and more exhaustion than resignation. We feel that this process has been like navigating through murky waters and sweet and fulfilling currents, where we have encountered the greatness of the spirits of the Apus, forests, nature, and the wisdom of our elders and younger sisters who fight with dignified rage.
